Meet the Amalaganimals! A group of four energetic animal kids who are all the product of mixed couplings. Together, they set out on a journey of self-discovery learning not only about themselves but also about other races and cultures. Along the way they learn to appreciate their dual heritages and promote acceptance and understanding. Even the very title ‘Amalaganimals’ is a fitting fusion of the words ‘amalagam’ (which means to combine), and ‘animal’.

The kids themselves consist of Luxly the Liger, who is half tiger and half lion. Luxly is the group’s defacto leader, as it is he who first sets out to find other children like himself.

Next, is Puck the Platypus, who is not quite as adventurous as his friends, Puck tends to be the group’s worry-wart and likes nothing better than to play in the mud and water.

Zora the Zorse is half zebra and half horse. As feisty as they come, Zora has a bit of a chip on her shoulder and likes to show off her strength and speed.

Finally, there’s Cory the Coydog, who is ever the prankster. Cory is the proverbial trickster being half coyote but is very loyal to his friends due to his dog half.
